Lindsey and Colin @ Mellon Park (Engagement Session)

I had SUCH a wonderful time hanging out with these two. Lindsey and Colin are laid back and quietly affectionate, as you can see in their photos below. You both were a joy to photograph. Thank you for inviting me!

This bride and groom chose to do their engagement session at Mellon Park in Oakland’s University area. Mellon Park is the perfect blend of elegant city park and romantic secret garden, providing a variety of photo opportunities in all seasons. Plus it’s close to the University area – a short drive away – so there is always the option of hitting the traditional columns at the Mellon Building or trying our luck on one of many of Pittsburgh’s beautiful college campuses: Pitt, Chatham, Carnegie Mellon. Not to mention nearby Schenley Park and Phipps Conservatory!

One more thing… Did you know Mellon Park’s Walled Garden hosts wedding ceremonies? You can even opt for a reception in the nearby Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. It’s a great all-in-one venue!
