Founded in 1998, the Adult Congenital Heart Association is an organization begun by and dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with congenital heart disease and advancing the care and treatment available to our community. Annually they sponsor the Congenital Heart Walk, in which 14 different communities raise money to support the 1 in 100 children and adults impacted by congenital heart disease across the country… for outreach, education, research and more.
It’s a great cause, and a lot of fun for those who are involved!
Last year Pittsburgh hosted a walk in North Park, and I was contracted to photograph the event. Below are a variety of candid photos that I captured that day.
