Kiersten and Ian @ The University Club, Pittsburgh

bride uses her napkin to wipe tear out of her eye, during speeches

Kiersten and Ian exchanged vows at the University Club of Pittsburgh in Oakland. Due to rainy weather, their ceremony was held indoors in front of the University Club’s fireplace. Cocktail hour was in the lobby, and their beautiful reception was held in the elegant ballroom. It truly was an all-in-one wedding location; Kiersten even got ready in one of the rooms upstairs! The University Club of Pittsburgh is a great option for couples who would like a city venue (particularly in the Oakland area) with a rain plan. And big bonus points if you are University of Pittsburgh grads! Plus, the University Club is centrally located on Pitt’s campus, placing it within walking distance to St. Paul’s and Heinz Chapel for those who prefer a religious ceremony.

Much congratulations to Kiersten and Ian on their beautiful marriage! Below are a handful of my favorite photographs from their day, telling the story of their emotion and joy.

Enjoy!
