Welcome! I am Pamela, a documentary wedding photographer in Pittsburgh, PA and have been photographing weddings since 2004. I believe beautiful moments live in photographs forever, and it is a PRIVILEGE to be chosen to document yours!

 

The truth is that I don’t want to get in the way or tell you how to experience your own wedding day. I want to connect with you and your people, to photograph all the joy, and ultimately deliver natural, raw, candid moments that tell your story. The way a photojournalist would!

Welcome! Pamela Anticole is a documentary wedding photographer in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

Documentary wedding photography is a unique approach to photographing weddings, that focuses on capturing CANDID moments in a really artistic way. All wedding photographers are trained to capture beautiful, classic portraits of couples on their wedding day, but documentary wedding photographers ALSO take it a step further… filling in all the gaps with emotive, creative pictures that together tell a full, emotional story of your wedding day. Like a photojournalist would!

 

This means your wedding photos won’t bring back memories of your wedding photographer telling you where to stand, how to tilt your head, or when your bridesmaids should get dressed. All you’ll remember is all the joy and wonder and love that surrounded you on the first day of your new marriage!

I am currently booking 2024-25 weddings in Pittsburgh and the surrounding Ohio, West Virginia, and Central PA areas. Also happy to travel for destination weddings! Rates start at $4100, and average investment for a Saturday wedding is around $4800.

 

I offer special rates for elopements or weekday weddings… Happy to give custom quotes based on your needs.

 

Services include photography coverage, engagement sessions, prints, photo albums, and digital files- among other products. I have examples of each that I can share with you!

Pamela Anticole is a Pittsburgh based newborn and family photographer. Her award winning style is thoughtful and emotional, and your client experience is both relaxed and fun!

 

Pamela will photograph your baptism, birthday party, anniversary, bar/bat mitzvah, or wedding in a documentary style learned as a newspaper photojournalist. It is her focus on real, natural relationships and ability to anticipate emotional candid moments that bring sensitivity to her work as a documentary photographer. Pamela is located in the Wexford area of Pittsburgh, PA and available for family photography within 45 miles of downtown Pittsburgh. She also offers photography education for parents both online and on location in person in the Pittsburgh area.
