REAL LIFE Sessions: The Process

Okay, so you’re interested in a Real Life Session. Now what??

1. Contact me! Let’s customize a session for your family.

Are you celebrating a big birthday and want me to document it? Planning a trip to the pumpkin patch? Just want to hang out at home in your pjs, while I document your normal routine? Let me know what you want to capture and we’ll come up with a plan to do so!

2. Contract/Invoice/Schedule your date…

Let’s get the ball rolling!  As soon as I receive your contract/payment, we will get your date on the books. I use an online system, from which you can electronically sign your contract and pay online. Of course if you prefer checks, I am happy to accept a mailed check as well. If you’d like to set up a payment plan, that is an option, too, for larger purchases.

3. Plan the session.

In the weeks leading up to your session, I will send over more information about what to expect. And you are always welcome to contact me with any questions!

4. Hang out! I shoot 🙂

This is the easy part! Let’s have fun in your Day in the Life!

5. Get your pictures.

I will take 2-4 weeks to digitally develop and fine tune your photos. When everything is edited and ready to go, I will email you a link to your online gallery that contains all of the images.

6. Order your album/prints.

Here is where you pick your product. Are you thinking you’ll want to print your photos for hanging on the wall? Or would you rather have a book that you can thumb through with your kids? Are you thinking you’ll also want to purchase digital files, to back up your prints/album? There’s no wrong answer- figure out what works best for your family and we’ll make it happen!

You will be able to order prints directly from your online gallery, paying online and having it shipped to your door. You can also pay for digital files directly from your online gallery, and then download them directly to your computer. If you opt for an album, just mark your favorites in your online gallery and I will design your album based off your selections. Pay online and I’ll have your album shipped directly to your door. Or better yet- I’ll come deliver it myself!

7. Tell all your friends!

My business relies heavily on strong word of mouth referrals and I very much appreciate my clients! Each of my previous clients will receive a studio gift when one of their personal referrals books with me. Read more about my Client Referral Program here.
