It was a uniquely still afternoon. I took my youngest out of the car in the middle of the road, to appreciate this scene with me. (He didn’t, but at least I tried.)
I don’t often find myself drawn to simple landscape photography, but this image was poetic enough on its own; I didn’t think it needed a second exposure.
