My friend Christina sent me a picture of the lake at North Park all frozen up, and I just had to see it myself. By the time I made it the fascinating ice formations were melting, but I found this beautiful scene… and later that night I finished the image with an exposure of the lights in my neighbor’s front yard. It added the perfect natural toning to this shot. Love it.
