The B. Family | Fox Chapel

mom feeds twin babies at the same time, while one baby sticks her feet in mom's mouth

Double the challenges, double the fun? It seems I’m photographing a lot of twins these days. Parents of doubles, triples, and more: you have my respect and awe!

If you ever wondered what it was like to raise twin girls alongside a rambunctious 6 year old, you need to watch this story of Betsy and Matt’s life.

Not enough time for a video? My favorite 30 or so photos from their session are in the gallery below…

Betsy and Matt invited me into their Fox Chapel home for a shorter 2 hour session with a Portrait add-on. I got to play baseball with big brother Alex, wake the twin girls for backyard play time, grill up dinner (Matt you make a dammmnnn good steak!), and get everyone ready for bed… PLUS do a relaxed lifestyle portrait session in the backyard! It was a busy day, but I imagine it’s always that way when you have twins.

Betsy and I went to high school together, but it had been 20 years since I’d seen her (Betsy, you look exactly the same!). It was nice to return to the Fox Chapel area where I grew up… I admit I got there early just to drive around and explore my old haunting grounds (Beechwood Farms looks the same but WOW has all the flooding lately affected Squaw Run Road!).

I love this family’s story and was so happy to be invited to photograph a day in their life. <3 Thank you, Betsy, for trusting me with your memories!

Life with kids is HARD- no need for multiples to experience the craziness!- but it goes so quickly. A Real Life session is for moms like you who want to remember how it FELT to be in the throes of child raising. The good, the bad, and the crazy. Because they won’t be asking for snuggles forever.

Sessions book out a couple months in advance. Contact me now to reserve your spot!
